Chola Bhatura Cups
Chole Bhature also known as Chana Bhatura is one of the most popular Punjabi dish liked almost all over India. Chole stands for a spiced tangy chickpea curry and Bhatura is a soft and fluffy fried leavened bread.

A creative way to eat 'Chole Bhature'.
Yield: 4-5 people
Prep time: 15 mins
Total time: 45-55 mins
- Chickpea 1 cup (Soaked overnight)
- Cloves-2, Peppercorns-4-5,1 stick cinnamon, Bay leaf-1, Lipton Tea bag-1, Big Cardamom-1 Spices- Cumin pwd, Coriander crushed pwd, garam masala pwd, chana masala pwd, Mango pwd, Anardana pwd, Red chilli pwd- Half tbsp each.
- Salt to taste
- Tomato Puree- half cup
- Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds- 1 tsp.
- Heeng a pinch
- ghee 2 tbsp.
- Maida- 2 cup
- Sooji- 2 tbsp
- Baking pwd – 1.5 tsp
- Yoghurt- 4 tbsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp plus oil for frying
Boil chickpeas with salt, cloves, Bay leaf, Tea bag. Heat 1 tbsp oil add cumin seeds, tomato puree, ginger garlic paste. Fry well. Add all spices and salt to taste. Once cooked add boiled chickpeas. Dry all the water.
Mix Maida, sooji, salt, Baking pwd, oil, yoghurt and make dough with water. Apply little oil and rest for 10 minutes. Make big bhatura and cut with cookie cutter into small coin size. Deep fry in hot oil.
