Puliogare or Tamarind rice is a traditional South Indian rice dish that is tangy and spicy. It is really delicious and served with poppadums or vadams. With this spice mix make this dish in a jiffy. Lightly fry the MTR Puliogare powder in oil, add peanuts and mix it with cooked rice to enjoy tangy tamarind rice!
1. Heat 2 and a ½ tbsp cooking oil in a pan.
2. Add 4 tbsp Puliogare powder to and stir for 2-4 minutes on a low flame.
3. Add 600g of cooked rice and mix thoroughly.
Tamarind concentrate (13%), sugar, peanuts, desiccated coconut, salt, coriander, red chilli, curry leaves, sesame seeds, jiggery, chickpeas, black gram, mustard spices and condiments.
