Dosai is a traditional South Indian dish prepared from fermented rice-and-lentil batter. It is spread thin on a pan (like pancakes and crepes) and cooked till light-brown and crisp. Dosai is eaten with coconut chutney and sambhar. Enjoy authentic dosa prepared at home in an instant, with the Gits Dosai mix.
1. Mix contents of the pack in 340ml water. Stir to smooth batter and set aside for 5 minutes.
2. Lightly grease a cold, flat non-stick pan with oil. Pour one ladle of batter in the centre and spread it in an outward circular motion to make a thin Dosai. Place the pan on medium heat.
3. Sprinkle a few drops of oil on the Dosai and fry till golden brown. Fold and remove.
