Jilebi is a juicy, sugary Indian sweet, in a crisp pretzel-shape. Prepare it easily with the Gits Jilebi Mix and wow your guests with warm, dripping, crunchy Jilebis! A taste that’s straight from the halwai!
1. Sieve the contents of the pack and mix with 125ml water. Stir to a smooth batter. Pour it into a thick cloth with a small hole.
2. Heat 250g oil or ghee. Squeeze the batter from the cloth to make pretzel shapes in the oil. Deep-fry on medium heat till crisp and golden.
3. Immerse Jilebis in warm sugar syrup for 20 seconds. Serve hot or cold.
