Germany

1. Free Pick-up (by customer)
– This is a special service that is available for customers in or near Bruchsal. To avail this service: 

  • The minimum order value should be 15€.
  • Prior arrangements regarding the date and time of pickup (from our Bruchsal warehouse) should be made by the customer, via email or telephone.

2. Shipment – This is the standard delivery option available for customers all over Germany. There are 2 shipment companies to choose from. Both will provide a tracking number and link to help trace the progress of the package. Tip! Check SPAM folder if you don’t see this mail in your inbox. Only 30kgs can be sent in one box according to shipment regulations. If an order weighs more than 30kgs, it has to be sent in two or more boxes. Only the first package will be charged at 4€ and the extra boxes will be sent at the company's cost.

  • Shipment through Hermes costs 4€ within Germany. 
  • We pay the delivery costs if the order is over 49€ (within Germany, Netherlands, Austria and France).
  • An order is dispatched the day after payment is received. Hermes takes 4 working days after that, to deliver the order.
  • If an order weighs more than 30kgs, it will be sent in 2 or more packages. Only the first package will be charged at 4€ and the extra boxes will be sent at the company's cost.
  • If an order that has already been shipped or has been returned to us and needs to be cancelled, shipment cost of 4€ will be deducted from the order amount at the time of refund.
  • If the package comes back because the address or name on the doorbell is wrong, or the recipient is unavailable, 4€ will be additionally charged (per box) for resending the package. Price of frozen products (if ordered) that are damaged in this process will not be returned. 
  • Hermes customer hotline number - 01806 333325. Please keep your tracking number handy if you need to give them a call.
  • Please carry your passport or personal id proof if you need to collect the package from a Hermes packetshop. Please call them before going to ensure that your package has been delivered there and you can check their opening timings online.

  • Shipment through DHL costs 3.95€, independent of the weight and value of the order (within Germany).
  • We pay the delivery costs if the order is over 49€ (within Germany, Netherlands, Austria and France).
  • It takes 2-4 working days for the order to reach the customer after dispatch. DHL packages are sent from Monday to Friday.
  • If the order weighs more than 30kg, it will be sent in two or more packages. Second and more boxes are sent free of charge, covered by the company.
  • If the DHL package comes back because the address or name on the doorbell is wrong, or the recipient is unavailable, 3.95€ will be additionally charged (per box) for resending the package.
  • Packages returned to Get Grocery (for any reason) cost 3.95€. This cost may or may not be transferred to the customer depending on the circumstances and at the company's discretion.
  • If an order that has already been shipped or has been returned to us and needs to be cancelled, shipment cost of 3.95€ will be deducted from the order amount at the time of refund. Price of frozen products (if ordered) that are damaged in this process will not be returned. 
  • Visit - http://www.dhl.de/nochmal-zustellen - to request a second delivery attempt, if you miss collecting the package the first time.
  • DHL customer hotline number - 0228 4333112. Please keep your tracking number handy if you need to give them a call.
  • Please carry your passport or personal id proof if you need to collect the package from a DHL pack station. 

     

3. Micro Shipment - Shipment of small orders is available at 1.75€ upto 400g & 2.75€ upto 700g (not applicable to glass bottles/tins/boxes and items with similar packaging). The package will be delivered in 2-3 days. A useful and easy option when you suddenly run out of one or two items. 

4. Frozen Products - Shipment of frozen products will cost 5.50€ extra. They are not included under the free shipment offer. 

Accidents / Delays / Exceptions

  • In case of delay, please track the order yourself using the tracking link sent by the shipment companies. If you need further support or assistance call us at 0176-1030-1536 or 07251-3269323.
  • In rare cases, the box can get damaged while being carried by the delivery people. In this case, the provider usually repacks the box at the centre and delivers. This can cause a delay of 2-4 additional days.
  • In some cases delays can also arise at Get Grocery's end if some ordered product is out of stock and is expected in the next 2 days. If longer, the company contacts the customer.
  • Fresh vegetables are delivered to us on Monday and Thursday. Orders with fresh items can sometimes be delayed in case we don't receive the supply in sufficient quantity or on time. In some cases, the money might also be refunded and the order dispatched. The company tries to dispatch fresh items immediately after procurement. 


EU Countries

We also ship to other EU countries. This is done through Hermes. Below are two sets of shipment charges for the respective country lists. Estimated delivery time is 7-10 days. In case of problems in shipment after the package has entered your country, you will have to contact the local shipment company/post. The country's local shipping rules will apply, for example with regards to home delivery, re-delivery, pick up of packages, etc. In some countries home delivery is not possible and the package is taken to the post office. Please check before ordering. Get Grocery takes no responsibility for vegetables ordered from countries outside Germany.
